I totally agree with the author http://politakid.blogspot.com/2006/04/alberto-gonzales-begins-war-on-child.html. First of all, I don’t understand why child porn actually exists in our society. Child porn is definitely getting out of hand even talking about it is sickening. I think that viewing child porn should be crime. Those images of children in porn on the internet are enough evidence to send somebody to jail. How could a person look at naked pictures or even have sex with children? Do they actually think its normal? What is wrong with watching adult porn rather than child porn? Do they feel that watching adult porn don't get them arouse? These people who actually host these websites of child porn should be prosecuted or fine. In addition, people who actually go to these websites should also get prosecuted.

  Children are victims and the helpless among society. These children who are involved in porn are not aware of the consequences. Indeed, being in involved in child porn may cause the child to have some type of development problems as they get older. If you think about, these children may become strippers or even porn stars because they feel it is the right way to go in life.  To prevent this from happening, they need to restrict web host from posting child porn on the internet and educated children about the consequences of being involved in child porn.  The main question is why is it taking a long time to crack down on these websites? I feel that society should find away to go around the 1st amendment in order to protect the children from child porn. I hope that this new bill actually goes through, so they could actually crack down on the websites that contain child porn. In addition, this might decreases the sex predators in our society. This society always trying to pass a bill on other things but when it comes to child porn on the internet, it is a different story. WHY!  

I wondered why some individuals actually think it is normal to look at child porn on the internet. In lecture 30, DR. Halavais went over some of the reason, and I think it is stupid how some people actually came up with some of the reason to look at child porn.
